"Last week of the transfer..."

Hey gang! This week on #whatsmysnack we have some Arabian food! A few weeks ago we met this Muslim lady named M. She wasn't interested in the gospel, but she said she'd let us come rake leaves and do yard work! So we came and helped her out, she was super thankful and she said, "I want to give you Arabian food, tell me when you're done." So we did! The rice and bread she gave us was super good, and the other stuff, well...I have no idea what it was.

This week was pretty sweet, we did lots of service. We helped out a bunch of members and investigators with yard work. We started working at habitat for humanity which is dope, we are building houses with a bunch of old guys who are super good at carpentry and they teach us how to do everything, it's sweet. We also got to go to court! Haha long story short, the zone leaders had an investigator who needed moral support at her court case, but they couldn't go so we went! It was a cool experience!

We met with JP on Saturday and he told us he isn't sure he wants to get baptized anymore. We had a good long lesson with him and he agreed to read the Book of Mormon everyday this week, then on Friday we will meet with him again and see what he is thinking! We had a sweet experience with a new investigator C. We stopped by Sunday night because we couldn't get in contact with him and he missed a lesson. We talked to him and he told us about how he had been reading the the Book of Mormon and that he really wants to be baptized! He asked if we could baptize him on Sunday! We explained there are requirements including taking the lessons. As soon as we mentioned lessons he said, "well, come on in let's start the lessons!" So we taught him the restoration and he loved it! We are super stoked for C!

Last week of the transfer, it's crazy I've already been with elder Gibby almost 12 weeks and he's almost done with training! It's finally green here in Illinois, it's crazy that it can go from dead brown and ugly to green blooming and beautiful in like 2 days! Life is good and the gospel is true!

Love y'all
